This one was fun, thanks Brian. And most of it was news to me.

I enjoyed this article.

Good article but would disagree on which movie portrays Wyatt more accurately. Wyatt Earp is widely thought of as a more accurate portrayal. Not as popular as Tombstone but much more accurate imo.

I woudn't claim that Tombstone is more accurate, just a better all-around movie. I should watch both of them again!

Would disagree with that as well but to each their own. Everyone's tastes differ. The inaccurate portrayal of Wyatt and Doc just turned me off enough that it became annoying.

Good God. From a glamorous perspective I can’t think of a better portrayal of Wyatt Earp than his role in Tomestone same goes for Doc Holiday. Is it historical factual? We’ll never know.

Disagree. And yes, we do know. But even Wyatt Earp took some liberties to make the movie more entertaining but overall it's much more historically accurate.

Excellent article and fun to read. The current generation believes that history started with the Vietnam war. There was lots of history before this generation. When we fail to understand the history that made Idaho great, we consign Idaho history to being only what liberal educators tell us it was.

We just watched “Gunfight at the OK Corral” on Amazon Prime. The movie may not have been accurate, but we enjoyed it. And especially, we enjoyed the beautiful backdrop of our hometown of Tucson, AZ, where the movie was shot.

Old Tucson was a popular movie set back in the day. The area was truly gorgeous in the “old days” of the 1950s.
