So sad to see Herndon lose but he did keep his PC seat. Hopefully, he will stay engaged and come back in the future. Will really miss Julianne Young! What a strong, constant advocate for the unborn. And happy to see Winder and Yamamoto out. Maybe 2025 will be the year for school choice. Thank you for the short and sweet recap.

District 23: Chris Bruce surprisingly got more votes than Melissa Durrant (well known in Ag) in Owyhee county.

Tina Lambert did not have a campaign FB page, while Dygert had a very active one. It appears Dygert got the Owyhee crowd to show up in force, which ironically, were the votes that may have put Chris Bruce on top.

For House 32A, both of the challengers were not LDS. Districts 28 and up have at least half LDS of the Total Population. How many have been elected in Eastern Idaho that are NOT LDS could be something interesting to track, if possible. Likely a high correlation.

I could not find if Janice McGeachin is LDS or not. IF not, she may very well be the exception to the rule.

As LDS are explicitly informed not to mix religion with politics as it considered being a bad witness, finding out if they're LDS or not tends to be difficult on their public pages without doing some further research.
