This is an opportunity but pale in comparison to the risk of Prop1 RCV. We should resist the temptation to pander on minor issues and coalesce on a few major items. Republicans are crappy at this, the Dems are experts. Watch out.
I agree, we need to establish priorities and tackle those. Rank choice voting will change everything.
Even if they will be difficult, we need to take a stand and address the voters' priorities.
