The results of my public records request
I had a chance to read the messages sent to the City of Eagle opposing my appointment to the Library Board. To be clear, the citizens who wrote to the city were exercising their constitutional rights to share their opinions with their elected leaders and I have no intention of doxing them or stalking them or anything like that. What is more interesting to me is the coordinated messaging they engaged in. Someone set this up, sending out talking points and asking people to email the city.
I know there are some who follow this Substack who vehemently disagree with me on the issues. If that is you, my door is always open. Let’s sit down with a cup of tea and cordially talk about our differences.
Nice work, Brian. Thank you for standing up in such a reasonable and reasoned way. Ad hominem attacks like those you experienced always diminish the attackers, not those who are attacked.
