I have arrived at the same conclusion. And it will be to the detriment of our community. And because it’s about power, factions show no sign of ever coming together.
Lying is pathological with you. I’m highly critical of Party Watch and its anonymity and have had no part in it whatsoever. Party Watch did NOT morph from Gem State Conservatives, which, by the way, was in eastern Idaho extremely effective and may well replicate that success elsewhere in Idaho in 2026.
The original Party Watch emails came from the gemstateconservatives.com servers. You are surely aware of this, Trent. I’m not accusing you personally of being Party Watch but it’s absolutely the truth that it grew from the Gem State Conservatives.
What you are alleging (based on an unauthorized use of a server id) is in reality a crime. Gem State Conservatives is a Sunshine Law-disclosed PAC. Conversion of its funds to any anonymous source is illegal. Prove your accusation or correct it.
Trent, I said nothing about money, and you know it. Did it take you a week to come up with this diversion?
This is not complicated. Someone who was part of or working for Gem State Conservatives sent out early Party Watch emails using the Gem State Conservatives mail server. You admitted it happened, and that it was "unauthorized". That doesn't change the fact that one or more people who were involved with Gem State Conservatives started Party Watch.
If you're that embarrassed by the association then by all means, denounce the person or people responsible.
A person who had access to a Gem State Conservative server is now associated with Party Watch. That is all you can honestly say. You are right: it is not complicated. Gem State Conservatives did not “morph“ into Party Watch, all of us who comprise GSC know that to be true, and you should stop lying.
Very well stated Brian. Guys like Tom Luna and Trent Clark are dinosaurs who if the GOP voters don't agree with their platform, they take their ball and go home instead of realizing the culture has shifted and they need to revise. They end up serving the left instead of conservatism which should be a wake up call in lieu of burning down the house because the GOP voters aren't buying what they are selling.

That was unauthorized and was quickly corrected.
