I’m sorry but I got lost in the details of your analysis. I’m especially interested in my senator, Josh Keyser, and who is running against him and who is supporting them. Two competing “conservative” ratings is confusing, intentionally I think. But which one is honest and reliable?

I personally believe Sen. Keyser has done a great job in his first term. He has two opponents - one a former state agency attorney, and the other a former Foreign Service officer. Best bet is to reach out and have a conversation - find contact info and other data at the Primary Pulse: https://gemstatechronicle.com/primary-pulse/

The high-level theme of my analysis of IACI vs IFPAC this year is that neither are the end-all be-all. IFPAC is only narrowly endorsing, and has fallen victim to the personal animosities that grew within Idaho conservatives over the past two years. IACI, on the other hand, looks to be casting a wide net, based on intangible factors outside their scorecards or specific legislation they supported or opposed.

Use endorsements or ratings as conversation starters, but don't let it end there. Go out and meet the candidates in person, research their records, and make an informed decision.

Thanks, so much, Brian. Without honest newspapers or television the task of becoming informed is daunting.
